Opposition MPs wear black bands over Negombo prison clash

Opposition Members of Parliament arrived in the parliamentary chamber wearing black bands to protest the failure to prevent the clash that broke out at the Negombo prison.

Opposition Chief Whip MP Gayantha Karunathilaka stated that Members of Parliament representing the opposition, including the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, joined today's parliamentary session wearing black bands.
