The second reading of the Appropriation Bill for the year 2027 (Budget Speech) will be presented in Parliament on 12 November 2026, the Ministry of Finance stated.
The publication of the Appropriation Bill in the Government Gazette will take place on 18 September, and the first reading will follow on 7 October 2026.
Approval for the draft Appropriation Bill for 2027, containing expenditure estimates for individual ministries, will be sought from the Cabinet on 14 September 2026.
The Ministry of Finance noted that the debate on the second reading of the Budget will span from 13 November to 20 November, and the Committee Stage debate will run from 21 November to 14 December.
