An Indian youth disappeared yesterday around 7 p.m. while bathing in the sea.
The young man had arrived from Bangalore, India, with five Indian youths to spend leisure time at a leading star-class tourist hotel in the Bentota area.
The hotel management submitted a complaint to the Bentota Police regarding the event, after he was swept away by a strong wave while bathing in the sea in front of the relevant tourist hotel.
According to the Police, the victim is a 24-year-old youth employed at the Google office in Bangalore, India.
