Permission granted to detain Shiran Basik

Court permission has been granted to detain Mohamed Shiran Basik for 90 days of questioning.

Authorities brought the 48-year-old suspect, a resident of Dehiwala, back to Sri Lanka on the night of August 14 and handed him over to the Central Crime Investigation Bureau for further inquiries.
