Sajith accuses government of failing struggling families

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa stated that the people of the country have fallen into a state of helplessness due to the shortsighted administration of the present government.

The Opposition Leader stated this addressing a Samagi Jana Balawegaya member promotion public meeting held in the Yaka Wewa area in Medawachchiya, Anuradhapura.

He stated here that millions of people of the country who cannot manage their daily three meals are under pressure, having been misled and lost due to lies and deception.

Premadasa emphasised here that the Samagi Jana Balawegaya is the only alternative available to the country today, and that the Samagi Jana Balawegaya alone can create rapid development by improving the farming of people living an agricultural life, strengthening the industrial system, and creating manufacturing industries.

The Opposition Leader further states that he requests full support for the new program that builds the country by developing villages and towns.
