Sajith pays homage to Ruwanweli Maha Seya

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa paid homage to the historic Ruwanweli Maha Seya in Anuradhapura.

The visit took place during his tour of the Anuradhapura District to inspect Samagi Jana Balawegaya membership promotion programmes and inquire into the issues faced by the farming community.

Following his worship at the Ruwanweli Maha Seya, the Opposition Leader met with the Chief Incumbent of the Ruwanweli Maha Seya, Venerable Eethalawetunuwewe Gnanathilaka Thera, to receive blessings.

The Maha Sangha present at the occasion invoked blessings upon Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and offered counsel for the success of his future political activities.
