A husband-and-wife duo were arrested this afternoon (27) with a stock of heroin and ice valued at over 70 million rupees during an inspection of a beauty salon near the Matara Railway Station.
The arrested individuals are a married couple residing in the Welegoda area.
The Matara Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
