Trincomalee Buddhist Centre holds fourth annual procession

The annual procession organized by the Trincomalee Sri Sambodhi Buddhist Centre was held recently for the fourth time.

The Chief Incumbent of the Sri Sambodhi Buddhist Centre, Ven. Trincomalee Kalyanawansathissa Thera said that this procession was conducted very successfully with the participation of eight elephants as well as 57 dance troupes.

The Thera further stated that this procession, which toured around Trincomalee town, is the only pageant held there annually.
