University lecturers stage protests across the island

University lecturers organised protests in front of all universities during the lunch break today (02), demanding solutions to problems, including the shortage of university lecturers.

Federation of University Teachers' Associations Secretary Senior Lecturer Charudatta Ilangasinghe states that this union action will be intensified if prompt solutions are not provided for their problems.
