Two children killed in hand grenade attack

A hand grenade targeted a house on Sirisangabo Road in Dehiwala early this morning (11), leaving two school students dead.

Police say the father, injured in the bomb attack, was hospitalised, while the bodies were placed at the Kalubowila Hospital mortuary.

Police state that information regarding the motive for the crime or details of the suspects is yet to be revealed.

Dehiwala Police are conducting further investigations to arrest the suspects.
