Sri Lanka end Day 3 on 265/8 against India

Sri Lanka scored 265 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their first innings by the close of play on the third day of the second Test match against the Indian team at the SSC Grounds in Colombo, replying to India's total of 503.

Pasindu Sooriyabandara scored 80 runs for the Sri Lankan innings, while Sonal Dinusha put up a valuable fight and remains unbeaten on 85 runs.

Sri Lanka remained at the crease with eight wickets down for 265 runs when play was called off on day three.

In bowling for India, Prasidh Krishna took three wickets for 47 runs and Manav Suthar claimed three wickets for 83 runs.

Sri Lanka currently trail India's first-innings total by 238 runs.
