Final rites of late actor Vijaya Nandasiri to take place on 11th in Mt. Lavinia

The final rites of the late veteran actor Vijaya Nandasiri is scheduled to take place at Mt. Lavinia public cemetery on the 11th of this month.

The remains of the late actor were brought to his residence at Kalapuraya in Mt. Lavinia this morning.

Actor Vijaya Nandasiri passed away last afternoon due to a heart attack.

He was 69 years of age at the time of demise.

Numerous artistes, politicians and fans paid their last respects to the late actor.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe issued a message of condolence over the demise of veteran actor Vijaya Nandasiri.

In his message, the Premier noted that Vijaya Nandasiri was an artiste who healed many hearts as a comedian and a talented actor on stage, tele-dramas as well as cinema.
