Ven. Pannasekera Thero appointed as the Chief Incumbent of the Kotte Sri Naga Viharaya

Sanghnayake Ven. Devahandiye Pannasekera Thero has been appointed as the Chief Incumbent of the Kotte Rajamaha Viharaya Chapter which was previously presided by the late Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero.

After the demise of Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero, the post of Chief Incumbent of the Kotte Sri Naga Vihara, a main temple belonging to the Kotte Sri Kalyani Samagridham Maha Sangha Sabhawa was handed over to Ven. Soratha Thero of Kelaniya.

However, due to his resignation, the Kotte Sangha Sabha has appointed Ven. Pannasekera Thero of Devahandiya for the post.
Ven. Pannasekera Thero of Devahandiya also holds the post of Chief Incumbent of Jayawardena Temple, on Kotte Road, Colombo.
