The night train service from Batticaloa to Colombo was suspended for the past few months due to the coronavirus spread.
The night train service which was suspended for three months from 25 October has resumed operations from last night (24).
Accordingly, the train which left Batticaloa Railway Station for Colombo at 08:15 pm yesterday (25) arrived at Colombo Fort Railway Station at around 05:30 am today (26).
The Hiru News correspondent further stated that the train service has been resumed following all health measures.
