IDH Hospital - Staff relieved after 21 months of hard work (Video)

The COVID pandemic increased the heartbeat of the whole country during the past few months.

Hiru News team visited the Infectious Disease Hospital (Angoda Fever Hospital) widely known as the "IDH Hospital", which was very busy with the third wave of the COVID pandemic, against the backdrop of the country gradually recovering from the critical condition.

From the first patient diagnosed with Covid, IDH Hospital has been dedicated to saving the lives of others.

The frontline health workers dedicated their lives, working day and night.

The peak of that unfortunate period was during the past month and a half.

Covid patients were admitted in excess of the hospital capacity.

But by now that number had dropped by about 50 percent.

The hospital staff was relieved as well.

But the responsibility placed on them is not insignificant.
