Upul Tharanga to be the new head of the cricket selection committee

Minister of Sports Harin Fernando says in Parliament that it has been decided to appoint a new Selection Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket under former Sri Lanka Cricketer Upul Tharanga

In a significant development for Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), Minister of Sports Harin Fernando announced in Parliament today the decision to appoint a new Selection Committee for the national team. The committee will be led by former Sri Lankan cricketer Upul Tharanga, bringing a wealth of experience and cricketing insight to the crucial role.
