Severe lightning warning issued

Thundershowers accompanied by severe lightning are expected in parts of the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as the Galle and Matara districts, after 2:00 PM today (4).

The Department of Meteorology issued this warning, noting that these areas may also experience temporary strong winds during the storms.
