A meeting took place yesterday (10) at the Prime Minister’s Office between Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya and representatives from the European External Action Service (EEAS) of the European Union.
The Prime Minister’s Media Division stated that both parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening the long-standing partnership between Sri Lanka and the European Union. During the discussion, the Prime Minister expressed her appreciation for the continuous support provided by the EU and specifically thanked the delegation for the assistance rendered toward the country's reconstruction efforts following Cyclone Ditwah.
