One generator at the Norochcholai Lakvijaya coal power plant is currently inactive due to a maintenance requirement.
A spokesperson for the plant stated that electricity generation continues using the second and third generators as needed.
The Lakvijaya coal power plant, which provides the largest contribution to the national power grid, consists of three main generators.
Each generator produces 300 MW of electricity, bringing the total capacity provided to the national grid to 900 MW.
As previously planned, generator 01 was shut down this morning to facilitate these maintenance activities.
