Authorities issue marine weather warning

Wind speeds and rainfall in the sea areas surrounding the island are expected to increase because of a low-pressure zone currently affecting the region.

The Department of Meteorology advised the fishing and naval communities to remain vigilant and closely monitor upcoming forecasts and official announcements.
