Moragahahena Sub Post Office robbed

Police have launched an investigation into an incident where Rs. 474,000 was stolen after breaking into the Moragahahena Sub-Post Office.

It has been revealed that the theft took place during the night of June 19, when unknown individuals broke into the sub-post office and stole the money.

The post office officer-in-charge has told police that the funds had been brought to the office for the payment of elderly allowance benefits.
