Bahrain has said its defence forces have intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks.
“The General Command affirms that all its weapons systems and units are at the highest level of readiness and remain fully prepared to defend the Kingdom,” the defence forces said in a statement.
It also stressed that “the deliberate use of missiles and drones to target civilians and private property constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law”.
