Dead whale washes ashore on Beruwala Maradana beach

A body of a dead whale with a length of around 35 metres washed ashore on the beach in the Maradana area in Beruwala this (26) afternoon, our correspondents report.

Residents immediately informed the Fisheries Inspector Office regarding the incident, and further arrangements were made to inform wildlife officers.
