Southwest China landslide leaves 51 dead, 10 missing

A total of ​51 people have ‌been confirmed dead after a landslide ​in southwestern ​China's Chongqing on July ⁠17, while ​10 are still ​missing, the local government said in a ​statement late ​on Thursday.

Search efforts in ‌affected land areas have concluded, while dredging and ​search ​operations ⁠in the Wu River ​were still ​underway, ⁠the statement said.
