Rough seas expected from Matara to Pottuvil areas

The Department of Meteorology states that the sea areas off the coast extending from Matara via Hambantota to Pottuvil can be rough from time to time.

The department advises the naval and fishing communities navigating in these sea areas to be vigilant.

Meanwhile, showers can occur from time to time in the Sabaragamuwa province and in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, and Matara districts.

The Department of Meteorology further noted that several spells of showers can also occur in the Western and Northwestern provinces.
