Government approval and economic indicators recorded a prominent decline, according to the latest 'Mood of the Nation' public opinion poll conducted by Verité Research in partnership with Vanguard Survey.
Government approval, which remained at high levels of 62 percent and 65 percent in February 2025 and February 2026, fell to 50 percent by now (July 2026), where the disapproval percentage increased, showing a decline of 15 percent.
Public opinion regarding the country's economic state changed as well, and the positive view regarding the state of the economy, which previously remained at 57 percent, decreased to 38 percent.
Of the 64 percent who believed that future economic outlook would turn positive have dropped to 42 percent, while overall satisfaction also decreased from 59 percent to 38 percent, the latest survey data revealed.
