Koralagamage Mandinu Pathmasiri Perera, alias 'Kehelbaddara Padme,' an alleged organised crime gang member who was detained and interrogated under the Prevention of Terrorism Act in the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department, was brought to the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court today (25).
Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department brought the suspect to court a short while ago.
Three persons, including Kehelbaddara Padme, were brought to this country from Malaysia in July 2025.
From that time until now, the suspects were detained and interrogated under detention orders of the Criminal Investigation Department, and today (25), Kehelbaddara Padme was presented before the court by the Criminal Investigation Department for the first time.
