Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna National Organiser and Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa will appear before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption this morning.
The parliamentarian was instructed in writing to present himself at the commission at 9.00 a.m. today.
A spokesperson for the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna confirmed that Namal Rajapaksa will comply with the notice and appear before the commission as requested.
The official reason for his summoning has not yet been disclosed.
