Dialog reports strong 1H performance with Rs. 30.9bn state contribution

Dialog Axiata reported robust financial results for the first half of 2026, driven by solid performances across mobile, fixed, and digital television segments alongside successful cost-rescaling initiatives.

Group revenue reached 95.5 billion rupees for the first six months, marking a 9% year-to-date increase, while second-quarter revenue grew 2% quarter-on-quarter to 48.2 billion rupees.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation climbed 23% year-to-date to 50 billion rupees, with the margin expanding to 52.3 percent.

Net profit after tax more than doubled year-on-year to reach 19.3 billion rupees for the half-year period, supported by lower net finance costs and foreign exchange gains.

The board approved a second interim dividend of 0.70 rupees per share, bringing the total year-to-date distribution to 1.40 rupees per share.

Capital expenditure totaled 18.5 billion rupees, focusing on the accelerated rollout of next-generation 5G infrastructure with over 1,000 live sites, alongside the launch of Dialog Air Fibre and the Dialog Pay platform to advance digital financial inclusion.
