The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has announced that online applications are now open for the fourth phase of jobs in the renovation sub-sector of Israel's construction industry.

The application link is available on the SLBFE's official website at https://www.slbfe.lk/ and will remain open until September 14, 2025.

The available job categories include:

  • Renovation workers (electric plug installation, bricklaying, putty application, partitions)

  • Ceramic tile layers

  • Plasterers

A total of 1,500 people will be recruited for these positions, which offer a 63-month contract.

Applicants must be between 25 and 45 years old, have not previously worked in Israel, and have completed at least Grade 10.

They should also possess good skills and experience in their chosen job category.

After an initial screening, applicants will undergo a basic skills assessment at District Centers under the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA).

Those who pass this test will be referred to the NAITA office in Katubedda for further evaluation.

Successful candidates will then be entered into a lottery system by the PIBA institution in Israel.

The SLBFE warns applicants not to pay money to any external parties for these jobs, as such payments are illegal.
