Anguruwatota Police arrested four women in the Remuna area while they were travelling on motorbikes under the influence of alcohol.
Police say the four individuals had consumed alcohol after visiting the Ada Dola in Remuna to bathe.
Investigators received information that the group regularly visited this location to bathe and consume liquor.
The arrested women, aged between 26 and 29, are residents of Horana and Gonapola.
They were apprehended while travelling together to return to their homes after drinking.
Anguruwatota Police are conducting further investigations, and the suspects will be produced before the court.
