The Ministry of Health and Mass Media says arrangements are underway to recruit a second batch of 237 officers to Grade III of the Public Health Management Assistant Service, improving the quality and efficiency of human resources in the healthcare system.

The ministry stated that the recruitment is being carried out on the instructions of Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, to fill existing vacancies within the ministry and affiliated hospitals and institutions.

Accordingly, interviews for the selected candidates are scheduled to be held on June 20 and 21.

The recruitment will be based on the results of the open competitive examination conducted by the Department of Examinations on 31 August 2025.

Only candidates who have scored 141 marks or above in the written examination will be called for the interview process, the ministry said.

Interview call letters have already been sent via registered post to eligible applicants, while further details have been published on the ministry’s official website.

The first batch of 213 Health Management Assistants was recruited in January, the ministry added.
