In a highly intense and closely contested match played under the Cup segment of the 2026 Schools Rugby League Tournament, St. Peter’s College, Bambalapitiya secured a thrilling victory over Isipathana College, Colombo.

Both teams delivered a neck-and-neck battle throughout the match, keeping spectators in suspense until the final moments.

St. Peter’s College managed to score 29 points, while Isipathana College scored 25 points.

Accordingly, St. Peter’s College clinched a narrow 29–25 win, further strengthening their dominance in this year’s league tournament.
