AC Mahagedara Pvt. Ltd., one of Sri Lanka’s fast-growing air-conditioning distribution and service providers, has expanded its islandwide footprint with the opening of its newest branch in Galle. The move marks a key milestone in the company’s rapid expansion strategy since its establishment in 2023.
The new branch is expected to improve access to professional air conditioning solutions for customers across the Southern Province. It will serve residential, hospitality, office, and commercial sectors amid rising demand for reliable cooling systems.
AC Mahagedara has quickly built a strong presence in Sri Lanka’s air conditioning industry, developing a customer base of more than 10,000 within a short period. The company distributes air conditioning units across all major brands while also offering installation, maintenance, and after sales services through a skilled technical team.
The opening of the Galle branch is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the company’s service network and provide faster, more convenient support to customers across the country. With existing operations in Colombo and Kandy, the latest addition allows the company to better serve the Southern region while reducing response times for installations and technical support.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Gayan Buddhika said the expansion reflects the company’s commitment to making reliable air conditioning solutions more accessible across Sri Lanka.
“The opening of our Galle branch is another important step in bringing our services closer to customers while supporting regional development and business growth,” he said.
The company currently employs more than 150 staff members islandwide and is recognised for its same day installation services. It recently received recognition for Excellence in AC Distribution and Service Innovation at the Diamond Excellence Awards 2025, further strengthening its industry reputation.
Looking ahead, AC Mahagedara plans to continue expanding its branch network and enhancing its service capabilities to meet growing national demand for air conditioning solutions.
