Walala A. Rathnayake Central College claimed victory in the girls' under-18 medley relay at the ongoing Hiru Relay Championship 2026 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Diyagama.
This event takes place under the full sponsorship and guidance of Hiru Media Network Chairman Rayynor Silva.
Organised for the fourth time by the Sri Lanka Schools Athletics Association with Ministry of Education approval, the event draws over 4,500 students from across the island, covering all age categories.
