Colombo Ladies College secured victory in the Under 14 Girls' 4x50m Relay at the Hiru Relay Championship 2026, currently underway at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Diyagama.
The team established a new meet record of 26.88 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 27.2 seconds set by Ave Maria Convent, Negombo, in 2024.
The championship proceeds with the full sponsorship and guidance of the Hiru Media Network.
Organised for the fourth time by the Sri Lanka Schools Athletics Association with Ministry of Education approval, the event features over 4,500 students across all age categories.
