The Commission informed the court of this decision when the case related to the incident was called.
Further presenting facts to the court, the CIABOC stated that as the investigations into the two suspects have now been completed, indictments are scheduled to be filed in the High Court.
This was announced when the two suspects appeared in court today.
The suspects were accused of causing a loss of over 20 million rupees (two crores) to the government by awarding a sand mining project at the Kirinda Fisheries Harbour to a Korean company.
The two suspects, who were previously remanded in connection with the incident, are currently released on bail.
The case related to the incident is scheduled to be recalled on December 4.
