hSenid Business Solutions (hSenidBiz) reported strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY2027, recording revenue growth and sustained profitability as the Company continued to execute its SaaS-led growth strategy.
Total revenue for the quarter reached Rs. 602.8 Mn, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 28%. The Company’s recurring revenue model continued to strengthen, with recurring revenues accounting for 75% of total revenue. Exit Annualised Recurring Revenue (ARR) reached USD 5.7 Mn, up 26% compared to the corresponding period last year, reinforcing the resilience and predictability of the Company’s revenue base.
The Company recorded a net profit of Rs. 51.0 Mn, reversing the net loss reported in the same quarter of the previous year. While foreign exchange gains contributed to profitability, core operating performance remained strong, with EBITDA excluding forex gains reaching Rs. 81.4 Mn.
Gross profit increased to Rs. 321.8 Mn, delivering a gross margin of 53%. Profit before tax reached Rs. 66.1 Mn, with an 11% margin, highlighting continued operating leverage as the business expands.
Founder and Chairman of hSenidBiz Dinesh Saparamadu said the Company was witnessing an increasing shift towards AI-enabled workforce transformation, while investments in product innovation and market expansion would position hSenidBiz to capitalise on emerging opportunities and deliver long-term value.
Chief Executive Officer of hSenidBiz Sampath Jayasundara said the quarterly performance reflected disciplined execution of the strategy built over the past few years, with the Company remaining focused on strengthening commercial execution, enhancing the PeoplesHR platform and delivering solutions that help customers gain greater value from HR technology investments.
Looking ahead, hSenidBiz will focus on accelerating Cloud ARR growth, expanding its presence in key markets and investing in AI-driven innovation across the PeoplesHR platform.
