Opening batsman Pathum Nissanka received the award for the best Sri Lankan cricketer of the year 2025.

The Sri Lanka Cricket Awards Night held yesterday (06) recognised the duo for their excellence.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Women's Cricket team captain Chamari Athapaththu received the award for the best female cricketer of the year 2025.

Organised to appreciate performances in the international cricket arena throughout the past year, the awards ceremony recognised players with outstanding performance locally and internationally.

Dhananjaya de Silva clinched the award for the best Test All-Rounder.

Prabath Jayasuriya secured the award for the best Test Bowler.

Wanindu Hasaranga was awarded the Best All-Rounder, while Charith Asalanka received the Best Batsman award.

Asitha Fernando received the award for the Best One-Day International Bowler of 2025, and Dushmantha Chameera received the award for the Best Twenty20 Bowler of 2025.

Additionally, Chamari Athapaththu received the awards for the Best One-Day International Bowler and All-Rounder of the last year, whilst Harshitha Samarawickrama received the award for the Best Female Batsman.
