Heavy traffic in Southern Expressway

A two kilometer long traffic line has blocked the Godagama exit of the Southern Expressway, the Southern Expressway officials said.

Director of the Expressway, S. Opanayeka said an additional toll gate is now in use to reduce the traffic at the expressway.

“This is an abnormal situation. We kindly request those travelling towards Matara to use alternative exits,” he said.
