Jayantha Jayasuriya Sworn In As The New AG

President’s Counsel Jayantha Jayasuriya took oath as the Attorney General before the President this morning.

The Constitutional Council yesterday recommended Jayasuriya to the post.

He was sworn in as the 29th Attorney General of Sri Lanka before President Maithripala Sirisena this morning.

The Senior Additional Solicitor-General, Jayasuriya has served in the AG’s Department for over 32 years.
