Johnston’s son stripped from Chief Government Whip post

Johann Fernando, Councilor and Chief Government Whip of the North Western Provincial Council and son of former minister Johnston Fernando, has being removed from his post.

The decision was made after he failed to carry out his duties.

It is reported that Councilor Bandara Rajapaksa was appointed to the post.
