Sprinter Yupun Abeykoon set a new Sri Lanka and South Asia record in the men’s 100 metres event at an athletic competition at Dessau in Germany yesterday (08).
He won the event in 10.16 seconds, beating the previous best of 10.22 seconds set by Himasha Eashan.
