Burnt body found at a house in Galle

Police have found the body of a woman who was burnt to death in a house in the Yatalamatta area in Nagoda, Galle.

The deceased has been identified as a 72-year-old woman, and police stated the death was suspicious.

The body has been placed at the Karapitiya Hospital and the Nagoda Police are conducting further investigations, the Police Media Spokesman's Office stated.
