Civil Aviation Authority Chairperson Upul Dharmadasa states that at present, more than 3,000 foreign tourists are arriving in the country daily.
He further stated that the tourism industry in the country is at an improved level and 46,942 foreign tourists are staying in the country as of yesterday.
About 22 foreign airlines are currently involved in attracting foreign tourists to Sri Lanka, and many more airlines are looking forward to establishing air links with Sri Lanka, he said.
