Government to offer ready-made school uniforms

Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Sunil Handunnetti, announced that starting next year, the government will provide ready-made school uniforms instead of fabric.

Speaking at an event held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo today (06), the Minister stated that the decision was made to reduce the large-scale wastage linked to distributing fabric for uniforms.
