The Sri Lanka Army Headquarters has announced that a dedicated War Hero Welfare Unit will be established in every Army camp across the island starting today (26).
This initiative, launched under the instructions of Army Commander, Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo, aims to facilitate welfare activities for the families of retired, disabled, and deceased war heroes.
Each unit will operate under the direct supervision of the Commanding Officer of the respective Army camp.
