Train services on Sri Lanka's up-country line are facing disruptions, according to a statement from Sri Lanka Railways.
Passengers travelling from Colombo will find their journey limited, with trains on the up-country route operating only as far as Rambukkana.
Similarly, services originating from Badulla will terminate at Peradeniya.
These temporary restrictions are currently in effect until midday tomorrow (22).
In addition to the restricted up-country schedule, all night mail trains that typically run between Colombo and other destinations have been cancelled for this evening, Tuesday (21).
