10-hour water cut announced for Colombo suburbs

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWS&DB) has announced that the water supply from the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant will be suspended due to a necessary interruption of the electricity supply to the main pumping station that draws water for the plant.

The water supply will be suspended for 10 hours, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM tomorrow (23), in the following areas:

• Baththaramulla


• Mirihana


• Mediwela


• Nugegoda


• Nawala


• Kolonnawa


• IDH


• kotikawaththa


• Angoda


• Wellampitiya


• Orugodawaththa


• Maharagama


• Boralesgamuwa
