Parliament adjourned

Parliament met this morning (01) at 9:00 a.m., chaired by Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne.

Soon after the session began, the Speaker suspended proceedings for 30 minutes to discuss whether Parliament should continue its work given the current disaster situation in the country.
